Court-Ordered Programs

CMHP is an approved provider of the following court-ordered programs by Los Angeles County Probation Department & Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) and are based on a sliding scale that depends on the client’s income. Clients are referred to CMHP from the Department of Children and Family Services, or by the L.A. County Probation Department. Any requests that are not court-ordered will receive outside referrals.

We usually see 40 to 50 clients a month, said Assistant Project Director, Alin Zamora. We offer domestic violence programs for batterers and victims, anger management, parenting classes, and various counseling programs. There is also a sex offender program for adults and youth, and child abuse counseling. We provide therapy for victims of violent crimes through the State of California, Victims of Violent Crimes Program.

Clients must provide the following information to receive assistance for these programs:

  • Court documents
  • Case number
  • Name and contact number of the judge
  • Name and contact number of attorney
  • Name and contact number of probation officer or social worker
  • Client name, address and telephone number
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of income
  • Valid I.D. with photo
